Thank you for completing the quiz! I am sure you can see the prevailing trend to your answers. If you consistently answered on the low end of the spectrum, then you probably do not have a high level of susceptibility around food. Maybe you are like my sister in law and food of any type really is no big deal. I never could quite believe she was telling me the truth on that, but now realize there are those among us for whom that really is the case!
I wish I could give you a numeric pat answer for the rest of us but it is not so easily done. It seems rather obvious at first glance that it is a simple math process of adding up the total of all of your numeric values, divide by the number of questions, you then have an average of all your answers and voila; that is where you are on the scale, right? Unfortunately, that is just not the case. Many of us score on the medium range on some of the questions but high on others. That does not average out to a medium high rating it simply means that you are probably high on the scale and simply don’t have those few items as areas of concern in your overall makeup. To put it simply, if you gave yourself a five on any of the questions, then you are high on the potential food addiction scale. That may be getting a sad frown out of you, but do not worry, we can work through this. The first step is to identify the issue and then to find the solutions. I have solutions!”
